Maybe the “English” link gives the idea that there is a version of our Asturias Paraíso Cultural blog available in English, but there’s not - it’s just this recap page, sorry… =(

We know we have many followers from our networks on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, YouTube (not mentioning all our friends and supporters in the real life) who don’t speak Spanish, and we apologize for not having content to share with them at the moment - we promise that we will take care of this soon.

We won’t have a copy of this blog in English (Asturias Paraíso Cultural will remain a blog in Castellano), but we already planned the release of a number of bilingual (Spanish/English) blogs and social network profiles as soon as we will announce our soon-to-be-announced cultural initiatives and events.

Which brings back to the key questions: what is Asturias Paraíso Cultural? Who’s behind the project? And what the Asturias Paraíso Cultural project is exactly about? This page is here to explain it all, and to present the project to our English-speaking friends and supporters.

Asturias Paraíso Cultural is an organization born in 2008 (but we were planning something like this since back in 2007) to fulfill a dream: getting Asturias on the map of Europe’s culture.

We are looking at creating a network of passionate supporters for our cultural cause, and this is why we dedicate a lot of attention to our blog and our social network spaces, where we love to hear from people and to engage with artists and other cultural organizations, on daily basis.

We support all Asturian cultural initiatives with a soul, all artists’ networks with a dream, and all cultural organizations with a vision. And, yes, we are working on the production of a few cultural events in Asturias, Europe and worldwide, which we will announce soon - stay tuned with us!
